By accessing or using PhotoToScan, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service
PhotoToScan is a document-photo cleanup service that helps turn phone photos or uploaded document images into clean scan outputs. Unless we expressly state otherwise, the service does not include legal review, medical review, compliance review, archival certification, or guaranteed document acceptance by any third party.
Accounts And Access
The current version of the service may be used without a persistent user account for basic scan processing. We may apply feature limits, technical restrictions, or anti-abuse controls to any use of the service.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and authority needed to upload and process your content through the service.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to:

- Probe, scan, reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

- Use the service as a substitute for legal, medical, accounting, records-management, or compliance advice
- Use the service for highly regulated, mission-critical, or institution-specific workflows where you need formal compliance commitments, guaranteed retention, or guaranteed acceptance

- We do not guarantee that any output will be accepted by a government office, clinic, insurer, employer, court, or other third party
- We do not guarantee that any particular shadow, fold, glare, skew, or quality issue can be fully corrected in every file
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the service is not marketed as meeting HIPAA, GLBA, FedRAMP, CJIS, or other sector-specific compliance requirements
Termination And Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, or if continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially practical.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InkStoneAI Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
